April 2, 2025 | 09:30 - 10:45
Hall 2 - Canadian Pavilion Mainstage, Hannover Messe Fairgrounds

SIDE EVENTS

March 31 - April 4, Hall 7, D28

Mechatronics booth: NGen, Festo Didactic and Humber Polytechnic are partnering to demonstrate the strength of Canadian mechatronics skills at Hannover Messe. This collaboration features a skills competition showcasing top students from leading Canadian post-secondary institutions including Humber Polytechnic, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and Conestoga College.

Robogoalie: Students from Banting Memorial High School have designed and built an AI powered Robo Goalie, an interactive demo that invites visitors to see if they can beat the Robo Goalie, a fun machine designed to protect the net. Guests are invited to take shots on the bot. Using AI, the robot adapts its movements to challenge each player. The experience could be enhanced with touchscreens or AR interfaces, where participants can tweak the robot's settings—adjusting its difficulty level, speed, and even its reaction time.
